Title: COST ASSESSMENT OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY INTERRUPTION -A CASE STUDY FOR INDUSTRIAL LOADS
Authors: Das, Mrinalni
Keywords: WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT;ELECTRICAL ENERGY INTERRUPTION;INDUSTRIAL LOADS;FUZZY LOAD MODEL
Issue Date: 2000
Abstract: In the proposed project the costs associated with an electrical energy supply interruption for industrial loads are estimated using interruption data obtained from different industries surveyed. The ex-pected energy not supplied for generation outage is also evaluated using frequency and duration technique. A fuzzy load model has been used for the interruption cost calculation to eliminate the error involved in the forcasted loads. The results obtained from - the proposed model is quite encouraging and may . help the industries to operate efficiently and it may also help the utility engineers for future planning •and decision making.
