Issue Date: 1979
Abstract: For the Statical Analysis of Concrete Strength the data for the field concrete strength has been collected from different Project sites for different grades of concrete in several batches having two or. more than two test results'in each batch. The concrete cube data about one thousand five hundred test specimens were collected for five grades of concrete with seven, twenty eight and ninety days of curing. The data so collected were subjected to statistical analysis. The histogram, frequency polygon were prepared and normal .distribution and lognormal distribution were tried. The third and fourth moment about the mean value were also computed.along with mean and standard deviation. The cumulative density functions have also been plotted on the probability paper which predicts a fair judgement of variations in concrete strength. Different criterias and control charts have been drawn to fix the maximum range and upper and lower limits for average strength.
