Therefore the consequent need for effective maintenance procedures planning cannot be over emphasised._x000D_ The system technique procedures which has been discussed In this dissertation, fo.r• giving an in-sight to the equipment Manager/Maintenance-Engineer for making a sound judgement in the field of maintenance management is a vital role to play as far as overall economy in maintenance and working life of an equipment is concerned._x000D_ The essential requirements of an effective maintenance programme lies with planned inspections and preventive or periodic maintenance procedures including effective lubrication programe .
