Authors: Widiasmadi, Nugroho
Keywords: WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT;FLOOD SIMULATION;STORAGE FUNCTION MODEL;RIVER CHANNEL MODIFICATION -TXC
Issue Date: 1996
Abstract: This Dissertation deals with Nonlinear Storage Function Model incorporating Kinematic wave rauting in describing parameter and Extended Kalman Filtering Technique for Parameter Updating. Nonlinear Storage Function Model is compared with Kinematic Wave Model, Tank Model, ( Tank Model-TA or Model I, Tank Model-TA for River Channel Modification or Model II, Tank Model for Special Tank -TX or Model III and Model Special Tank for River Channel Modification -TXC or Model IV.)_x000D_ User friendly computer programs for the above mentioned models have been developed and applied for flood simulation in Garang River at Semarang in Jawa Island-Indonesia . Hourly rainfall and runoff data for 1990 Flood in the Garang River over the period of 6 th to 10 th in January ,1990, have been used in the present study....
