Abstract: The Precise Knowledge about an area is essential for agriculture development planning.India being a country of variable climatic condition needs to be studied at frequent interval. This is more relevant in the context when the variability in weather parameter in increasing every year. In view of the increased information on weather parameters in different parts of the country and improved computational fecilities an attempt was made to study the agroclimatic condition of India (A quqntitative description of climatic parameters as they effect productivity of crops, natural vegetation and forest etc.) through the study entitled " STUDY ON THE AGROCLIMATIC CONDITION OF INDIA
