Abstract: Micro-computers are increasingly being used to help in the management of irrigation scheme_ Irrigation scheduling, water balance studies and water allocation problems etc. are being carried out with the help of desk top micro--computers commonly known as personal computers. Out of various programming languages used in the computer such as 'COBOL, FORTRAN, BASIC, PASCAL etc. LOTUS 1-2-3 is the most. popular electronic spread sheet available now-a-days. It displays an electronic sheet on the screen for multiple task performance. The spread-sheet consists of a table of several rows and columns. The features of such a package enable the user to perform many tedious/repeated calculations in order to arrive at certain decisions especially in case of Water Resource System Management.....
