Title: COMPUTERIZATION OF PLANNING OF SURFACE WATER STORAGE
Authors: Arifin, Zaenal
Keywords: WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT;SURFACE WATER STORAGE;MAXIMUM WATER LEVEL;FULL RESERVOIR LEVEL
Issue Date: 1990
Abstract: This dissertation is an attempt to computerize the hydrologic design of surface storage schemes. Various terminologies related to a reservoir are defined, different methodologies used in computation of storage computation are throughly discussed. The programme takes into consideration the live storage aspect, reservoir sedimentation, criteria for fixing various levels in the reservoir such as dead storage level, minimum draw down level (MDDL), full reservoir level (FRL), the flood surcharge computation, and the maximum water level (MWL)
