Abstract: Integrated use of surface and subsurface resources is necessary to meet the ever increasing demand of water. Moreover, planned and economical utilization of these resources is important due to their limited availability. In the present study, a conjunctive use study has been done for Lakhaoti branch command area of Western Uttar Pradesh. The study area, till recently was being cultivated with ground water only. The objective of the study is to determine the optimal allocation of surface and ground water for different parts of the study area and also to knoii the impact of such an allocation on the water levels of the area.....
