dc.description.abstract | The study entitled °Utilisation of Farm Resources and Cost Structure -- I Case Study of Salawa Command— was carried out in the year 1983-84 in a selected area of the command. 9 villages i.e. 3 each in Head, h/iddle and Tail reaches of Debuthwa distributary were randomly selected. Finally, 75 farmers were randomly selected for the study. These farmers represented marginal (below I Ha) , small (1.00 Ha - 2.50 Ha) , medium (2.50 Ha - 4.00 Ha), and large farmers (4.00 Ha and above) . The necessary data were collected throught two sets of questionnaire/schedules for which an Intensive Survey Method was adopted. The collected data pertained the social composition of the family, capital assets, cropping pattern, cost struc-ture, cost of cultivation and net returns of important crops in the study area, which 'was recorded in order to highlight the impact of Farm Resources Utilisation and Cost Structure ;s on farm income. | en_US |
