Abstract: This dissertation ' Slope Stability Analysis of an Earth Dam by Probabilistic Approach' has been prepared from available literature on the subject, A conventional method of slope stability analysis and a probabilistic approach of slope stability analysis proposed by Vamarcke have been discussed regarding their suita-bility for Earth Dams. An application of probabilistic approach of slope stability analysis- has been applied to Ramganga Dam.
