Abstract: Wide variation in income is the general feature, among the same occupationists and so also is the case with the farmers whose net income is directly proportional to size of holding. Agricultural labour constitutes the lowest rung of the agricultural ladder and therefore, their income is very low as compared to farmers. The present study entitled "Income Differential among Different size of Farms and Agricultural Labour in Salawa Command" was carried out in the command of Debathua distributary which covered 9 randomly selected villages i.e. 3 each in Head, Middle and Tail reaches of the Debathua distributary. Finally a sample of 72 farmers proportionate to size of different farmers populatign_ ,'was . randomly L selected farmers i.e. 29 farmers from marginal, 25 from small, 9 from medium and 9 from large size of holdings. Besides, this landless. agricultural labours were also 'randomly selected and their sample was drawn proportionate to their population in the selected villages....
