Abstract: Aggregate is a very important material used for concrete construction of dams, barrages, tialnels, canals, roads, power houses, etc. in water resources development pro je cts. The natural aggre gate available such as grave 1 and sand often does not satisfy the pro ject requirement and in most cases aggregate is required to be processed from boul-ders or massive rock into proper sizes by using variety of processes ranging from drilling and blasting through trans-portation and conveyance of aggregates to crushing and screen-ing operations. In this dissertation, scope of study has been restrict-ed to production of crushed stone aggregates which involves transportation and conveyance of aggregates, scaloping,feed-ing, crushing, screening, washing and classifying..
