Such projects are undertaken for rapid economic development which will ultimately provide better life to the people. As the construction costs involved in major water resources projects are quite substantial reason._3l le construction cost estimat s are necessary. :Uthough the approximate estimates done through do p art! nts and the detailed estimates put forth by contracting company may differ from respective :aspects, the final goal is same (i.e. construction of a given project within: the stipulated time period cons-trained by the allocated budget) .
