Abstract: | Now a day Indian industries are facing high production loss due to Downtime on Paper mill with different causes. Various type of Maintenance Program is introduced in the Paper Mill management to control such problems. The present study is highlighting the approach that will be helpful to solve such problem for paper mill management. In this report Predictive maintenance covers the condition monitoring of Paper machines with Vibration analysis. An operation research approach is also attempted to find out the Production mix by Simplex method of Linear Programming (LP), therefore one can detect the particular machine for further analysis. The analysis will be pivoted on the downtime due to extend of Mechanical (Vibration) & Operation (felt and wire change) failures. The downtime data from a typical Pulp and Paper industry are used for simulation with program developed. A downtime analyzer is suggested provided with an instrumental control system. A stochastic dynamic model for felt change schedule is also suggested. Therefore present study can be summarized with the following points: • Predictive Maintenance with Vibration Analysis. • Simplex algorithm for identification of particular Paper Machine. • Downtime Analysis for Predicting future trends of Paper machine Downtime. • Recommendations of downtime analyzer with control system & Felt Change schedule with Stochastic Dynamic modeling. The same study can be applied for the Process/ Simulation with Pulp Mill & Paper Machine simultaneously. Instrumental approach will be helpful for downtime Measurement with given program in downtime Analysis. |
