Abstract

The success in increasing the agricultural prociuc-~i un largely depends on the extent to which the water requirement of crops can be met with. The ultimate irrigation potential i if fully developed can not meet the demand of water evon half of India`"s total cultivated area, Hence, it is necessary to make efficient use of all available sources of irrigation. The various sources of irrigation are: Canal, tubo wall, ponds,, persian«-Wheel etc, This study is aimed at to study the comparative economics of different irrigation sources and also impact of different sources on cropping pattern, productivity and input output relationship.....
