Abstract: Economic development of a country depends upon per capita consumption of electricity. It will be obvious that per capita consumption of electricity in the develop-ing countries is much lower than that in the developed countries. Some of the Non-a_onvfontional sources of energy like solar, thermal, wind energy sources, and some of the renewable sources of energy (Biomass ' including plants and agricultural residues and wastes and Biogas, which can be produced from inimal wastes like cow dung etc.) and their availability -And conversion as well as trans-port aspects are discussed in detail in this di'sserta ti on.....
