Authors: Singhal, Nitin
Keywords: PHYSICS;MICROCONTROLLER;BATCH CONTROL;CYPRESS-PSoC
Issue Date: 2008
Abstract: Now a days Batch Control System is very much popular in medicine industry for processing of a group of many things automatically to eliminate the human error, time consuming problem. Automation process in an industry improves productivity and product quality. This thesis involves the interfacing of keypad, display units (LCD and seven segments), printer and relays with microcontroller for designing of a Batch Control System. The report contains a detail description of the hardware used, their functioning, circuit diagram and procedure to interface these various units to the microcontroller and flow chart for its operation. With the use of Cypress-PSoC (Programmable System on Chip) family's microcontroller CY8C27443, it is easy to handle various tasks easily. This controller is having its various advanced features for accompanying the different requirements of user.
