dc.description.abstractThe subject matter of this study is divided into two parts. Part 1 consists of three Chapters which deal with the theoretical and bibliographical aspects relating to the study of Slurry Trenches. Part 2 consists of three Chapters of which the first two deal: with the experimental work conducted for study of trench stability and properties of slurries used respectively. The last chapter deals with the discussion of the results and conclusions together with recommenda-tion for future work on the subject. A list of references is given at the end.en_US
