Abstract: The slosh behavior of liquid as water in a horizontal moving container on rigid supports is studied experimentally. The overall force response with excitation frequency is determined. Numbers of models have been considered with different number of compartments (up to five compartments) and locations to reduce the force response. The excitation is provided unsymmetrically at several angles with reference to initial longitudinal direction. After comparing several models, it is found that force response for model mas is largest with e = 00. The model mb3 (6= 450) and mdl (0= 450) have least force response than other models. The model mb3 is preferred over all other models and is recommended for design and further in depth study
