Issue Date: 1993
Abstract: The present work considers a seven degree of freedom lumped means system for human body morphology. The eigen-values and eigen-vectors have been obtained for the same. The lumped mass system is constructed on the basis of available statistical data. Response of different lumped masses have been obtained for specific cases-of square wave and triangular wave excitations at the feet as well as at hands in terms of displacement amplitude vs freequency and acceleration vs frequency. Further, response has been obtained for sinusoidal wave excitation of hand. All of these have been analysed for tangible inferences, particularly apropos comrfort criteria
