Abstract

the present work *=bodies the results of geo logical investigations carried out in a 40 sq. Km. area lying around the Ctx pan (District - Mi rzepur,U .p.) and ii situated between latitudes 2403018H and 24°32'30" h and Longitudes 82°53'30"E and 83°S'E. The area is included in Survey of India quarter inch toposhsets No.,3 P and 63 L. 1.2. cesLbiJi_t Chepan is nearly 75 miles south of Mirzapur city - and is linked by a railway lane and a metalled mad. The central part of the area Chopan is connected by roads from all the sides. In the north it is connected with lbbsrtsganj, in south with Dudhi and Daltanganj, in east with Akbarpur and in west with the Agori. Between Mirzapur and Chopan there is regular bus service.......
