Issue Date: 2012
Abstract: In this report a steady state and transient state analysis of the induction generator connected to the grid are carried out. Graph theory concepts of the circuit theory are used for the purpose of analyzing the steady state response of the induction generator connected to the grid. This model of analyses is found to be simpler and more relevant for extending studies on steady state response. The transient analysis is carried by developing an induction machine in MATLAB. The induction machine model is formed from the basic dynamic equations of the induction machine. The transient used here is the grid disconnection. The models have been used to theoretically determine the steady state and the transient performances of the grid connected induction generator.
