The objective of this dissertation is to investigate the effect of drilling parameters on surface finish of the drilled hole in PVC, Perspex and Bakelite plastic materials. The drilling parameters are (i) Peripheral drill speed (V) (ii) Feed (F) (iii) Dia of drill(d) (iv) Point angle(G) The experimental design technique has been used and second order response surface equations have been developed for all the three plastic materials. Results are presented in graphical form also and an analysis of results is carried out.en_US
