The study also has been made about the primary groove width as a tool life indicator. Al. so the su i tab it ity ar the toot rear weight as a criterion for tool life measurement, in the case of coated carbide tool has been discussed. tir the r, cork relating to total tool failure due to chip notching and its breaking into primary groove at low speeds and breaking of crater wear Into the secondary groove at high speeds of cutting as reported by Venkatesh, has also been investigated.en_US
