The author has developed a Canputer programme for cooling load estimaticn of a building by transfer function method using building dimensions and characteni sticsdesign out door and indoor cal diti on s, occupant s„ lights et co as input data, The hourly values of heat gains and cooling loads are obtained as output, The two dfferent examples have been ccnsidered for estimatirg cooling load by the developed computer program and ccmpared with the calculations by two other methods, viz Heat gain factor method and Total equivalent temperature c. ff erenti al method, The computeriwd calallati on technique shows a definite improvement over the manual methods, vi z, Total Equivalent Temperature Differential and Heat Gain Factor Methods.en_US
