Title: SLIDER BEARING PERFORMANCE TAKING INTO ACCOUNT VARIATION OF VISCOSITY WITH TEMPERATURE
Authors: Kumar, Ashok
Keywords: MECHANICAL & INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING;SLIDER BEARING;VISCOSITY;TEMPERATURE
Issue Date: 1974
Abstract: The effect of temperature and pressure on lubricant properties and the being performance has drawn much attention of lubricationn engineers in recent yeast. The dependence: of 'viscosity on to aporature h3wev+ r$ plays a more significant role In the bearing performance as has been aboen by many Investigators* Zn the present work, an analytical solution of the viscoSitf dependent Reynolds equation euatton and energy equation for a finite plane slider bearing has been presented. A computer program for the solution based on the snaleis is also included.
