In the present study it is our intent to illustrate how human performance can influence the use of controls. The object is to determine the optimal C/I3 ratio,, and which shape and size of the knob is most suitable as far as the time taken to set the pointer on a designated., position is concerned. Two sizes of the knobs have been experimented six C/D ratios have been employed. The effect of varying the C/I) ratio on adjust and travel time, influence of platform angle have also been investigated.en_US
