Abstract: In practical cases of metal cutting, the process is always dynamic due to variation of cutting condi.- tionst e.g. undeformed ah ak hieknees cutting velocity, tool geometry eta. These variations are caused by the relative vibration between machine tool and work surface, tool wears presence of hard particles in the work piece. These varia-tions in the cutting conditions cause variation of shear angle and ousting forces# Recently some investigations have been made I to study the effect of work.- -4urfe-,ae slope on the shear angle for dynamic cutting but the effect of variation of 1ge has not been studied so far, , In the present investigations the effect of variable undeformed chip thickness on shear angle under different cutting conditions has been studied.
