Abstract: This report describes a conversational context editor which was designed and developed for use on the TIP-2OOOJ.. Time shared BASIC system. This editor was inspired by the EDT, command in the MIT' s Compatible Time Sharing System. The context editor is a program designed to pro.- vide facilities for the creation and modification of source fires of the text from a time sharing on-line terminal. This editor can be used for preparation and editing of source programs, that are to be compiled and run or a batch operating system or a different computer system, on a. time sharing operating system. Context editing system provides macro processing facilities also.
