Title: CLOGGING BEHAVIOUR OF GRINDING WHEELS
Authors: Kumar, Ashok
Keywords: MECHANICAL & INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING;GRINDING WHEELS;CLOGGING;SPECTRO-PHOTOMETRIC METHOD
Issue Date: 1971
Abstract: Clogging of grinding wheels is on.e of the important factors which limits the rate of metal removal. its importance has been realized in past by a number of researchers, but little effort was made to measure it experimentally. In this work., clogging of the grinding wheel was determined by measuring the amount of iron particles clogged within the pores of the grinding wheel using spectro-photometric method. Study was made of some of the basic parameters influencing clogging during surface grinding of cast iron and mild steel.
