Issue Date: 2012
Abstract: Process chemical industries are known for catastrophic accident nature. So it was essential to estimate and minimize the hazard using suitable prevention technique so it was essential to conduct detailed safety analysis and consequence analysis of the units of the plant. So the, Hazard Identification of a Ammonia Production Plant done with the help of consequence analysis and Fault Tree Analysis via relative frequencies and event identification. The obtained results have shown successful application to give certain recommendation for healthy working of an industry. The highest possible uncertainty was obtained when the probabilities of occurrence of accidents are one and the accidents detection model had forecasted the future behavior of the system and then compared this with the actual situation scenario. The obtained results were illustrated successfully for the estimation of the system behavior during abnormal situation
