This dissertation aims towards the design analysis and characterisation of concurrent dual band QPSK modulator .For the modulator design its key components are designed for the dual band 2.4/5.2 GHz in microstrip technology. All the components basics and implementation is discussed in the report. The rat race coupler and branch line coupler designed provide a very little phase deviation of 2° and 1.5 °. Schottky diode is used for switching purpose. A maximum of 4° deviation from quadrature phase is obtained. Commercially available simulation tools ADS and EMDS were used in the modelling of the device.en_US
