Event and fault analysis is very important method to find out failure event in the system. And also determine the failure rate & reliability of the system. Fault tree analysis is a systematic, deductive and probabilistic risk assessment tool which elucidates the causal relations leading to a given undesired event. Quantitative fault tree (failure) analysis requires a fault tree and failure data of basic events. An event tree begins with an initiating event, such as a component failure, increase in temperature/pressure or a release of a hazardous substance. Event tree analysis is based on binary logic, in which an event either has or has not happened or a component has or has not failed. It is valuable in analyzing the consequences -arising from a failure or undesired event. By event tree analysis, we can easily determine out-come of consequence during process. In my dissertation report, I determine event & fault tree analysis of ethylene release in ethylene vaporization unit. And study the whole process system and identify all failure events. And also determine qualitative & quantitative evaluation of failure events and determine failure frequency & reliability of the system by the help of fault tree analysis. And in event tree analysis, I identify all initiating event & classify the hazards outcomes. And determine quantitative evaluate all consequence during processen_US
