DETECTION OF MALICIOUS NODES IN IOT NETWORK USING BLOCKCHAIN

Abstract

With the growing adoption of the Internet of Things, many security vulner abilities of IoT systems have come into the picture. One of these is called Version Number(VN) attack [1], in which a malicious node simply stops send ing data to the other nodes and starts hogging up the network. This research work proposes a novel method to detect such kind of nodes efficiently. We also compare the results with the already proposed algorithm, the Shield algorithm.
