dc.description.abstractTwo- and three-dimensional (2D & 3D) perovskite based oxides containing lithium, calcium, lanthanum and titanium of known (Lio,16Lao.62TiO3, LiLaTiO4 & Li2La2Ti3Olo) and new (Lio.ioCao.35Lao.4oTiO3) compositions have been synthesized. The compounds are characterized by Powder X-ray Diffraction (PXD), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis. In Lio.10Ca0.35Lao.40TiO3 and Li0.16Lao.62TiO3, the Li ions are probed by static and dynamic 6Li, and 7Li NMR experiments. The results of these investigations are presented in the dissertation.en_US
