| Abstract: | A lot of research has been done on the tensile response behavior of materials in an effort to better understand how the internal states and external states change during ultra-rapid deformed process. Molecular dynamics simulations are used to investigate the tensile response of single crystal magnesium. Using the MD method, it is determined how the uniaxial tensile load applied along [100] orientation would affect the single crystal Mg model system's tensile behavior on room temperature. In this simulation study, single crystal Mg model has a length of 130.3 Angstrom in the x-direction, 99.2 Angstrom in the y-direction and 99.2 Angstrom in the z-direction are made. Periodic boundary conditions are applied and stretching processes are applied along the x-direction throughout the study. |
