Title: Synthesis of various dienone compounds by using phenylglyoxal as precursor
Authors: Ojha, Satyam
Issue Date: Apr-2022
Publisher: IIT Roorkee
Abstract: Various dienone and chalcone derivatives were synthesized by using 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl) 2oxoacetaldehyde, phenylglyoxal and benzaldehyde as precursors by using carbon-carbon bond formation employing classical aldol condensation reaction as strategy, the products obtained were characterized by Infrared and Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
