Abstract: High-frequency sound waves having frequencies higher than the upper threshold of human hearing, which is typically around 20,000 Hz, are referred to as ultrasound. Using the reflection Of these sound waves, ultrasonography is utilized as a diagnostic tool in the medical field to produce images Of interior organs, tissues, and blood vessels. The method makes use of a transducer, which sends out sound waves and detects their echoes as they hit inside body components. These echoes are then processed to create images that a medical expert can use to evaluate and diagnose a variety of illnesses. Ultrasound is a useful tool for medical imaging since it is non-invasive, reasonably safe, and does not use ionizing radiation.
