Abstract: A well-designed product that prioritizes its users' needs and preferences proves to be superior to a product solely focused on addressing a specific problem. Besides offering effective solutions, an optimally designed product creates a cohesive environment that fosters growth, expansion, and diversification into various products and services. In contrast, a product that concentrates exclusively on solving a problem adopts a narrow-minded approach, which may eventually lead to its decline. Problems, like everything else, are subject to change, and a product must be equipped with an appropriate structure to adapt to these variations. In the realm of UX design, this structure is embodied in a Design System, which ensures consistency and lays the foundation for a product that not only solves problems but also evolves with users' needs and market demands, ensuring long-term success and adaptability. This graduation project in industry collaboration focuses on the redesign of the existing OneCode Android application into a new, user-friendly app called ZET, aligning with the rebranding of the OneCode app of the Vistas TechnoLabs Pvt. Ltd., a rapidly growing fintech startup based in Bengaluru, India. The primary aim of the project is to create a cohesive user experience that reflects the new identity of ZET while enhancing usability, catering to the growing demand for financial services in India's tier-2 and tier-3 cities. This comprehensive process incorporates real-world usage data, competitive analysis, and user feedback to design a market-ready product that embodies the company's vision and mission. Through a product specific methodology, this study examines user behavior and preferences, develops a cohesive user experience, and ensures the redesigned app meets industry standards. Ultimately, the new ZET app aims to establish a trusted fintech brand and provide a user-friendly platform for individuals residing in India's tier-2 and tier-3 cities, fostering employment opportunities, and promoting financial inclusion in these areas.
