| dc.description.abstract | The Magnet app is a fintech solution designed to address the unique financial needs and preferences of users in tier-2 and tier-3 cities of India. This thesis project focuses on the development of an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) version of the app, utilizing UX design principles, design thinking methodologies, and user-centric approaches to create a secure, accessible, and user-friendly credit card solution. The project aims to empower users to manage their finances effectively, improve their creditworthiness, and access new financial opportunities. The Magnet app MVP covers end-to-end flows, including onboarding, account creation, and management of credit card features. The design and development process of this thesis project serves as a valuable resource for future designers and developers working on similar projects, showcasing the importance of empathy, user understanding, and iterative design in creating impactful digital solutions.
