Abstract: The term medicinal plants include collection of plants used in herbalism with therapeutic activities. Medicinal plants and plant derivative molecules are used for therapeutic purposes from the very beginning and are still a thing despite advancements in modern therapies. There are different types of documentation consisting of literature, research paper, locally prepared databases, but none of them is on the same wavelength or that comprehensive. So, there is a need for a unified database that is curated, easy to understand, and easy to use for any purpose. This web server-based database will try to full fill the need for a comprehensive database. This database will provide the window towards the development of an integrated platform that will contain every crucial bit of information on plants, from every continent/ country all over the world, having medicinal and/or nutritive values by accumulating data from the books, literature reviews, research papers, previous databases, and websites.
