This thesis is concerned with the behaviour of atoms in strong magnetic field. First of all, the behaviour of Hydrogen has been seen in the various ranges of magnetic field using some methods like variational method, power series method, Hartree Fock method, oscillatory like wave-function, perturbation theory etc and compar ison of the results is studied. After that, some numerical methods like B-Spline method, Feranchuk and Komarov (FK) operator method have been used to calcu late thembindingmenergy of the Hydrogenatom. Thebindingenergyofhydrogen atom has been calculated by modifying the computational program made in For tran 90 and 95 language. B-spline method gave results up-to six precision digit and FK operator gave results up-to twenty precision digit. At the end, results ob tained using both the numerical methods have been compared with some known results and examinedthat, whichmethodisgivingthebetterresult with minimum energy difference error.en_US
