| dc.description.abstract | In this work, we study the deteriorating production process with allowable shortages. We also study deteriorating production process without shortages. We see the effect of quantity discount scheme and deal with the deteriorating process system when the products are sold with a free minimal repair warranty, employing the fraction of nonconforming items in a lot size. This paper will find the unique optimal lot size and backordering quantity that minimize the expected total relevant cost, regardless of whether the probability that the system will shift from the controlled to the uncontrolled state is low. | en_US |
