dc.description.abstractThe present study deals with the modeling studies of the hydrothermal liquefaction of lignocellulosic Biomass (‘Litsee Cubeba Seed’ and ‘Water Hyacinth’) of known chemical composition using the kinetic parameters obtained by Obeid et al.[1] for different model compounds. The products reported in GC-MS analysis of experimental studies of HTL of (‘Litsee Cubeba Seed’ and ‘Water Hyacinth’ [9,10] are modeled using kinetic parameters of model compounds presented by Obeid et al.[1]. The modeling is done Using NRTL method in RYIELD and R-CSTR reactor. The results obtained from modeling are compared with experimental results. The possible reason for the deviation of simulation result with experimental one is also given. In the experimental study, the hydrothermal liquefaction of Cu- impregnated Cellulose is performed and yields of Bio-Oil and Char are reported.en_US
