| dc.description.abstract | The Papillomavirus is a small non-enveloped, double-stranded DNA virus having a diameter of 50-52 nm that infects the cutaneous and mucosal stratified epithelia of vertebrates and causes the development of benign and malignant warts or lesion. It is highly diverse and likely occurs in most mammals and birds. There are more than 220 accepted species of papillomavirus that infect humans.High-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) genotypes cause cervical cancer.The same types seem to be responsible for other anogenital malignancies, and also a fraction of head and neck cancers.The low-risk PVs cause benign oral/respiratory, skin, and genital papilloma whereas high-risk PVs cause cancer. Present work aims to understand the difference in evolutionary changes that are sequential as well as structural among the high risk and low-risk papillomavirus by comparing the E2 protein and DBD by taking different PVs that is Human papillomavirus (HPV16), Bostaurus (Indian cow), Musmusculus (house mouse), Canisfamiliaris (Dog), Equuscaballus (horse), Felisdomesticus(cat), Cervuselaphus (Red deer), Camelusdromedarius (Camel) and Macaquefascularis(crab-eating monkey). | en_US |
