| dc.description.abstract | TETRASELMIS INDICA is a green alga, green-colored chloroplast, marine and freshwater, plankton growth rates, distinct eyespot, large number of Golgi bodies, flagella pits hairs, characteristic cell division. Tetraselmis Indica properties are versatile, widely acceptable, nonedible, carbon dioxide sequestration, nutrient from various types of wastewater. I have collected wastewater from STAR Papermill, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The wastewater collected was primary wastewater, secondary wastewater, and sludge industrial wastewater. BOD, COD, TOC, ICP-OES, IC, and TDS characterization was carried out. In BOD, chemical magnesium sulfate, alkali iodide, H2SO4, starch as an indicator, and sodium thiosulphate as titrant was used. The samples were kept for 5 days at 25oC for its BOD. In COD the chemical used as titrant was Potassium dichromate. Ion chromatography was used for checking the concentration of phosphorus and sulfur. Inductively coupled plasma- optical emission spectrophotomer (ICP-OES) ICP-OES get to know the concentration of heavy metals like lead, cadmium, mercury. TDS is for measuring the dissolved combined content in all inorganic and organic substances. Total organic carbon analyzer is measuring the concentration of organic carbon, which is converted into carbon dioxide. Blank BG11, primary algae wastewater, secondary algae wastewater, sludge non-filter, and sludge non-filter were made. The area for cultivation and harvesting the microalgae for a closed system was prepared. UV Spectrophotometer was used for absorbancy. Gas chromatography-mass spectrophotometer (GC-MS) was used for FAME analysis for biofuel. | en_US |
