| Abstract: | The review of the project deals with the analysis and study of various factors involved with the Concerns of abnormal stresses exerted on the shafts of massive turbine generators by the result of increased switching of network faults. the high torques caused in turbine-generator shafts during multi-phase machine fault high-speed reclosure. By the method of sequential auto-recloser in this context, hydro generator systems of different designs were investigated for various cross-system faults. Transient faults account for 70 to 90 percent of all overhead line problems. As a result, in addition to relay protection, the overhead wires are fitted with reclosers to detect transient defects. When a network problem occurs, turbine-generators encounter a step shift in torque. The clearance of the fault causes a second step shift, generally in the opposite direction, due to the second shift oscillation will occur. During a circuit breaker tripping, auto reclosing is employed to restore power to the system. Successful auto reclosing can improve the power system's stability and durability. In this thesis, the effects of double line-to-ground faults and three-phase-to-ground are recorded, and the performance of the proposed approach is demonstrated using parametric experiments and simulation results. The impact of the auto-recloser reclosing time and also the fault occurrence instant on the performance of the proposed system have also been investigated. This analyzes transient processes during the simulation of auto recloser operation. Simulations are performed using MATLAB software. The simulations show the behavior of the load angle speed deviation, torque, stator current during the fault that occurred on the transmission system which is equipped with auto recloser and sequential recloser |
