| dc.description.abstract | Vibrations produced by fluid flow has been producing problem in various structures such as in the aircrafts wing fluttering, hydraulic turbine blades and in many other fields such as wind load in high rise buildings which are dangerous for the whole system. So it is required to tackle these problems at the earliest so that we can save our system from catastrophic failure. Based on the thorough study of research papers, flow induced vibration on Low pressure high speed turbine blade are studied. As we go through the report we see the methodology used in different section used to get the results obtained.Commercial software’s like Ansys and Solidworks been extensively used in the completion of this report. In this report, the previous work on flow induced vibration is reviewed that is helpful to gain the insights of the problem that we need to encounter. Based on that and using different methodologies the work in this report is done substantially. Complex 3D Fluid flow analysis has been carried out on steam turbine blade to understand the effect of the steam. More work should be carried out to understand the problems encountered at different stages of project so that solutions to the problem can be easily found out. Experimental investigation need to be carried out to validate the results so that we can be sure of the results obtained to solve the problems in future as well. Further studies with more complex geometries of the blade need to be performed to obtain the insight of problem as well that is helpful for future work. | en_US |
