Each human being on earth needs energy in their day-to-day life to complete their daily requirements like running fans, air conditioners, fridges, etc. There are two types of sources of energy. Conventional and non-conventional sources, out of which traditional sources of energy are exhaustible and harm nature in many ways (like creating pollution, a threat to aquatic animals, exhaust from thermal power plants is the leading cause of acid rain, etc.). At the same time, non-conventional sources are the source for green energy (pollution-free energy) and require nearly zero maintenance cost. Among all the available non-conventional energy, solar energy is available in abundance. Till now, many scientists have developed various types of collectors for harnessing solar power. Our main aim is to analyze one of the collectors named parabolic dish type solar collector (PDSC) and see what improvements or changes can be done in previously existing PDSC to increase efficiency.en_US
