Abstract: Nowadays demand for high data rates applications increasing. In order to achieve the goal of higher data rates we need higher capacity of the communication system. To increase the capacity Multiple Transmit antennas and receive antennas are used widely. In this paper we use Hybridization of MIMO(Multiple Input and Multiple Output) OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) which means that using MIMO along with OFDM. We are using MIMO along with OFDM because MIMO can increase the capacity of the system and can handle deep fading but it is still powerless for frequency selective deep fading problem. In this paper we will find the solution for above problem using MIMO along with OFDM. The purpose of using OFDM is to mitigate the inter-symbol interference. In this paper we will study about Hybrid MIMO OFDM models like MISO-OFDM i.e., 2×1 and MIMO OFDM i.e., 2×2 and compare them interns of their BER and Throughput versus SNR results. In Hybrid MIMO OFDM model the first subscript denotes the number of transmitter antennas and second subscript denotes number of receive antennas . This MISO and MIMO models analyzed by taking 64 QAM image as input. We will observe from the results that adding one antenna at the receiver the performance like capacity and BER are improved.
